Job summary

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory responsibilities for PRN overnight shifts. The role focuses on facilitating patient flow, ensuring safe care, and leading staff collaboration in a high-acuity rehabilitation environment.

Requirements include a Florida RN license, BLS, and a BSN preferred, with two years of acute care experience and a commitment to continuous improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current Florida RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NTLS/ TNCC as determined by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates timely patient flow and provides off-shift management and operational oversight.
• Ensures safe, quality patient care in the acute care hospital setting.
• Leads communication and relationship-building with staff and engages teams in decision making.
• Supports a Zero Harm Environment and Just Culture; responds to safety recommendations.
• Participates in process improvement and risk management to optimize patient outcomes.
