Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee 24 hour per day operations on a dedicated clinical unit and manage staff development, scheduling, and quality assurance. Onsite administrator after hours, you will coordinate care and lead nursing teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, Florida registration, 3+ years in rehab/med-surgical nursing, BLS, and MRN leadership experience within a Magnet-designated system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in Florida with at least three years’ experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing.
• BSN or related degree and CRRN preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for communicating significant events to Director on Call, managers and VP Nursing.
• Evaluates staffing needs per shift and adjusts to patient acuity and staff capabilities.
• Promotes accountability through primary nursing and delegates direct patient care.
• Responds to emergencies and ensures continuity of patient care 24/7.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with healthcare team and learners.
