Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a Per Diem/Casual RN leader at SSRRH-Sutter Santa Rosa Reg Hospital. This role represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel when management is not present, serving as a liaison to departments, agencies and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in the state where care is provided.
• BLS Basic Life Support required; ACLS not required at MPMC.
• 12 years of recent relevant experience.

Position Overview

Represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel in all departments when leadership/management staff is not present in the facility. Serves as administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians and provides functional guidance to all units. Serves as a resources for decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, staffing and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied.

Education

Job Description:

• Other: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Certification & Licensure

• RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (not required at MPMC)

• 12 years recent relevant experience

Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge of principles and practices of nursing for all inpatient settings, emergency departments, surgical services and ambulatory care settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of all regulatory requirements, including the Joint Commission, Department of Health Services, Title 22, CMA, and OSHA.
• Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and nursing standards of patient care.
• Must be well versed in hospital and medical staff organization and structure; fluent in medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures required to access Pharmacy and dispense drugs during hours when the Pharmacy is closed.
• Proven successful experience with physician relations, supervision, personnel management, and management within a complex environment.
• Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a complex environment are required. act, diplomacy, and ability to work with individuals in all levels of hospital and medical staff organization.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Leadership and team skills that enable working cooperatively.

Pay Range is $99.87 to $139.81 / hour

The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location. Candidate starting salaries consider multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
