Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing hospital experience required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care and safety across the organization.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to optimize flow.
• Monitor bed availability and implement surge capacity measures as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing on a shift basis.
• Serve as designated on-site hospital administrator after hours.
• Assess administrator-on-call requests and activation of disaster plans.
