Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking an experienced nursing leader to ensure high-quality patient care and operational flow on the assigned shift. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with admissions and bed control, and act as on-site administrator after hours to ensure hospital operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree (BSN/MSN preferred), a minimum of 3 years hospital experience, and current BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program Required
• Bachelor’s Degree /Master’s degree in Nursing Preferred
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency Required

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care.
• Coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to optimize flow.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing per shift.
• Serve as on-site hospital administrator after normal hours.
• Assess requests for administrator-on-call during shifts.
• Act as lead during absence of Administration and/or department directors.
