Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH is seeking a PRN House Supervisor RN to join our nursing leadership team. You will oversee nursing staff across shifts, coordinate patient care, and ensure unit operations meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN in Ohio with BLS, ACLS and PALS as applicable, and has significant leadership experience, including supervision of RNs and support staff. Flexible scheduling supports varied shifts and department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Licensed registered nurse in OH or OH compact license.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within one year for Full & part time house supervisors.
• PALS required.
• Minimum of 3 years current experience as a charge/staff nurse with administrative and leadership abilities OR minimum of 2 years in nursing managerial position.

Responsibilities

• Integrate nursing service into the organization’s primary functions, and attain the organization’s Mission
• Coordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services
• Develops and implements Nursing standards and procedures that guide and support the provision of services for the nursing department and the hospital
• Recommend a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care, including treatment
• Continuously assess and improve the performance of care and services provided
• Understands the principles and steps of problem solving and acts as a resource to others in problem identification and resolution
• Supervises RNs, LPN’s, operating room technicians, nursing assistants, clerical support personnel.

This PRN position is for a House Supervisor working varied shifts. The applicants schedule will be based on the needs of the department. The position reports to the VP of Patient Care Services.

Qualifications:
