Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Muskegon, Michigan, is seeking a full-time Housewide RN Nursing Supervisor to lead and manage nursing staff. In this role, you'll oversee the daily functions of charge nurses and frontline staff, contributing to the quality of patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment. Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program.
• Formally / informally supervises daily & or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department.
• May or may not have direct report relationships.
• May be accountable for staff coordination, scheduling & assignment or throughput.
• May participate in & contributes to the performance management / review process.
• Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department.
• Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

The Housewide RN Nursing Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care.
