Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 3+ years of direct patient care experience.
Master’s Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of direct patient care experience.
Current, unencumbered Arizona or compact state RN license.
CPR Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience teaching in higher education and pre-licensure programs.

Responsibilities

Instruct nursing students and help them achieve academic success.
Follow protocols for presence, grading, attendance, and assessment of student learning.
Use effective classroom management techniques.
Monitor and improve instruction to meet Student Learning Outcomes.
Evaluate student performance and progress.
Maintain currency in nursing education and pedagogy.
Collaborate with faculty, staff and students in a collegial manner.
