Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Certified Nursing Assistant courses on a part-time schedule. RN or LPN with Georgia license required; experience in long-term care and training credentials preferred.

The instructor will deliver lectures, labs and clinical sessions, evaluate student progress, and maintain required documentation per program standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with a current, active Georgia license.
• Minimum of two years of full‑time paid in-field work as an RN/LPN in the past five years.
• One year of long‑term care experience required.
• Train-the-Trainer certification and approval with Alliant Health GMCF prior to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lecture and lab/clinical course material.
• Develop lesson plans for classroom and clinical instruction.
• Evaluate student progress toward goals and objectives.
• Maintain required documentation and administrative reports.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
• Comply with credentialing requirements of affiliated agencies.
• Complete Hazardous Materials Training and Bloodborne Pathogen training annually.
