Job summary

Atlanta Technical College seeks a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor – Nursing (Part-Time) to teach at the Main campus south of Downtown Atlanta. The position involves delivering quality curriculum in nursing and related healthcare fields, in classroom and clinical settings, under the supervision of the Dean of Health and Public Safety Technology.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing (MSN), at least three years of clinical experience, and GA RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of strong clinical experience in acute patient care, OB, Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical and/or emergency or trauma conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality curriculum with daily instruction in classroom and clinical settings.
• Follow approved curriculum standards and course syllabi.
• Advise and counsel students and maintain advisement records.
• Maintain classrooms and laboratories per approved plans.
• Assist in recruitment and job placement; attend meetings when required.
• Participate in committees and ensure compliance with ATC policies.
