Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach nursing clinicals for Fall 2026 in the Grand Rapids area. The ideal candidate will foster a stimulating classroom environment and use department-approved textbooks.

Adjunct needs are determined semestrally, with a typical schedule Tuesday/Wednesday mornings or Wednesday/Thursday mornings, or Thursday/Friday mornings. Minimum BSN required; 4000 RN hours; teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
• 4000 hours recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Teach GRCC Nursing courses and fulfill adjunct faculty responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide accommodations per ADA guidelines.
• Respond to communications promptly and ensure student access to course information.
• Comply with GRCC policies and Faculty Association Contract.
