Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach nursing clinicals in Fall 2026 for the Grand Rapids area. The schedule typically includes morning sessions Tue/Wed or Wed/Thu or Thu/Fri, with duties including maintaining records and adhering to ADA accommodations.

The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching and student success; adjunct needs are determined per semester, with compensation posted as adjunct pay rates and a report to the Associate Dean - Health Sciences.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution is required.
• 4000 hours recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Michigan RN Licensure is required.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach GRCC nursing course offerings and clinicals.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment with syllabus templates and approved texts.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide reasonable ADA accommodations.
• Respond promptly to communications and ensure access to course information.
• Follow the required syllabus template and GRCC policies.
