Northeastern University School of Nursing seeks a full-time Nursing Academic Coach for the ABSN program in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on individualized academic support, clinical reasoning development, and collaboration with faculty to enhance student success.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BSN, and have 5+ years of clinical nursing experience with experience teaching or tutoring adult learners. Hybrid work and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in state
• BSN from ACEN/CCNE-accredited program
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience with adult learners and diverse student populations
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring for ABSN students across nursing courses
• Develop individualized study plans and effective study strategies
• Assist students with pharmacology, pathophysiology and clinical reasoning
• Collaborate with faculty and program leadership on progress and remediation
• Participate in program assessment and improvement initiatives
