Belmont Village Senior Living Buffalo Grove is seeking a licensed nurse to serve as Wellness Coordinator. You will oversee clinical and care aspects of the community and support the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance and quality monitoring.

You will lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians, communicate with healthcare providers, families, and team members, and ensure timely interventions and follow-up for residents.

Qualifikationen

• Active nursing license (LVN/LPN or RN) in the state where the community is located.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 1+ year of medication administration experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Clear communication in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance essential for Belmont Village employees.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center.
• Follow up on physician orders and coordinate services with providers; report changes to physicians/families.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document observations.
• Ensure care and service plans are followed by staff.
• Make situational decisions and manage conflicts constructively.
• Update and review resident medical records and incident reports.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction.
• Assist in infection control and hazard communication programs.
