Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to oversee clinical and care aspects of the community and to support the Director of Nursing in regulatory compliance and quality monitoring. A licensed nurse (LVN/LPN/RN) is required, with strong communication to families and healthcare providers.

You will lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians, and manage daily Wellness Center operations.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN nursing license in the state of the community
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for Belmont Village employees

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center
• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
• Administer medication to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report adverse reactions or observations
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and Caregivers
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict resolution constructively
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
• Assist the Director of Resident Care Services in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction
• Assist in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programs
