Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities across shifts in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality care by coordinating staff, adhering to regulations, and collaborating with the DON/ADON as applicable.

The RN will oversee nursing service staff, ensure policies and discharge plans are updated, and participate in quality assurance, safety, and compliance programs to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and an active RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred (2+ years).
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English; effective communication required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to ensure resident well-being.
• Monitor and ensure proper administration of medications and treatments.
• Participate in safety, infection control, and quality assurance activities.
