Job summary

Villa at Pine Place, part of Villa Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead day-to-day nursing activities and ensure high-quality care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.

The ideal candidate will have current RN licensure in Michigan, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care. Strong leadership, communication, and infection-control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks and reassignments per facility needs.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Makes rounds to monitor resident conditions and nursing performance.
• Provides nursing care as needed and documents care provided.
• Ensures areas are clean, sanitary and compliant with policies.
• Supports QA/QI activities and corrective actions.
• Performs administrative duties and charting.
• Interprets policies to staff, residents and families.
