Job summary

Villa At Parkridge is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to oversee day-to-day nursing activities and ensure high quality care through assessment, care planning, and evaluation. The role requires strong leadership, staff supervision, and coordination with administration and therapy teams.

Candidates should hold a Michigan RN license, CPR certification, and have supervisory experience in long-term care, with familiarity of MDS processes.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, schedules breaks, reassigns staff by facility needs, writes performance reviews, and enforces policies.
• Plans care with administration, medical and nursing staff, and therapy to ensure quality patient care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions.
