Villa at Silverbell Estates is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead day-to-day nursing operations, oversee staff scheduling, and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care through ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Michigan, CPR certification, a nursing degree, and at least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care. Strong communication, leadership and infection-control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college.
• Current RN license to practice in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning staff as needed, writing performance reviews, and enforcing policies.
• Meets with administration and other departments to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions and nursing performance.
• Provides and receives nursing reports during shift changes.
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and treatment rooms.
• Supports QA/PI to address identified deficiencies.
• Performs administrative duties such as forms, reports, and charting.
• Interprets restorative care policies to staff, residents, and families.
• Delivers direct nursing care as needed and relevant.
