Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a qualified administrator to manage a sub unit within a department. You will plan, organize and develop goals and procedures, and represent the sub unit to administrators and outside agencies while supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal six years.
• Preferred: LVN or RN license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record systems.

Responsabilités

• Manages a sub unit within a department.
• Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures.
• Represents the sub unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters.
• Supervises subordinate staff.
• Supports occupational health needs for employees, faculty, residents, students, and volunteers.
• Coordinates and administers annual clinical competency assessments for nursing and clinical support staff.
• Monitors and maintain nursing and medical assistant licensure and certification compliance.
• Ensures adherence to institutional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Reduces organizational risk associated with expired credentials, incomplete competencies, and employee health compliance deficiencies.
• Enhances workforce onboarding, retention, employee well-being, and patient safety initiatives.

Formation

Bachelor's degree with supervisory experience
