Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees as needed, writes performance reviews and enforces policies.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff and other departments in planning care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions.
• Provides direct nursing care as necessary and ensures restorative care notes are informative.
