Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager LPN to lead the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility and ensure high-quality care. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating care with administration and other departments, maintaining care standards, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of resident status.

The ideal candidate holds an active Michigan LPN license with CPR certification, has supervisory experience in long-term care, and can adapt to a flexible

Qualifikationen

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees, and writing performance reviews.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Makes rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure staff performance.
• Provides direct nursing care as needed and documents appropriately.
• Completes required forms upon admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Informs nursing staff of new admissions and room assignments.
• All other duties as assigned.
