Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff delivering direct resident care.
• Assist in staff development and performance management.
• Provide direct resident care per established plans on the unit.
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Complete data collection of residents' medical status at admission and during treatment.
• Contribute to individualized treatment plan development and implementation.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff and coordinate schedules.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights and documentation requirements.
• Resolve grievances with families and other staff; complete preceptor training.
