Job summary

Magenta Health at Daytona is seeking a strong and compassionate Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to join our nursing leadership team. This role leads nursing operations in a patient-centered environment, guiding daily activities, supervising staff, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

  • Valid Florida LPN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications active.
  • Proven experience in acute care, emergency medicine, hospital settings, or long-term care environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with clinical protocols and organizational policies.
  • Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to maintain accurate health records in electronic health record (EHR) PCC.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts for discharge planning, medication administration, and other nursing duties.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards to protect patient confidentiality and safety.
  • Conduct regular audits of medical records, laboratory results, and diagnostic evaluations to support quality assurance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
