Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Care Supervisor to oversee day-to-day unit operations, clinical care, and staff education in the Inpatient Float Pool. You will work under the Nurse Manager or Director to ensure safe, high-quality care and smooth patient flow.

This role leads staff supervision, orientation, competency assessment, and participation in performance improvement and infection prevention efforts, while coordinating with care teams and committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
• Two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current Minnesota RN license.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day unit operations and patient flow.
• Provide staff supervision, orientation, and competency assessment.
• Lead in performance improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager/Director and interdisciplinary teams.
• Act as Charge Nurse when required.
