Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks a Transition to Practice Educator to mentor new nurses and ensure smooth orientation. You will coordinate resources, assess performance in real time, and liaise between education and clinical management to tailor knowledge delivery.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and prior acute care and precepting experience; BSN is preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Must have a current and valid RN license.
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 1 year preceptor experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide continued educational support, training and mentoring to new nurses in the clinical area.
• Coordinate needs and resources for each new nurse by follow up during and after orientation.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between education and clinical managers/coordinators to facilitate timely release from orientation.
• Assess needs and performance in live time and address deficits through targeted resources.
