Prime Healthcare Services' Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Transition to Practice Educator to support new nurses during orientation, provide unit-based coaching, and coordinate resources to ensure a smooth transition to practice.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years acute care and 1 year preceptor experience; BSN preferred. This full-time, day-shift position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license issued by the State.
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 1 year preceptor experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide continued educational support and mentoring to new nurses.
• Coordinate resources for orientation and follow-up during orientation.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between education and clinical managers to facilitate timely release from orientation.
• Assess needs and performance and address knowledge/skill deficits with targeted resources.
• Contribute to improved patient outcomes through nurse development.
