New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist is hiring a Nurse Technician - Telemetry for the Evening shift. This part-time role (5 shifts biweekly) supports bedside care under a registered nurse, delivering compassionate patient-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, completion of Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician program or related, BCLS certification, and at least one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program, with documentation of completion.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

This position is a part-time (5 shifts biweekly) evening shift (3:30PM-midnight) located at New York-Presbyterian\Brooklyn Methodist.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum one-year experience as Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program, with documentation of completion
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis including dexterity of fingers, hands, arms and feet with sensory requirements of speech, touch, vision and hearing to normal range with corrections.

Salary Range:
$31.22-$33.70/Hourly
