Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nurse Tech who is enrolled in a nursing program or holds Oklahoma CNA licensure.

The role supports RNs, provides patient care, and works with diverse patient populations in a 229-bed acute care hospital with a long history in the region. You will demonstrate competency in operating equipment, communicate changes in patient condition, and complete education per policy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and/or enrolled CNA in OK
• Must pass pre-employment assessment
• BLS certification required
• Must demonstrate each task before performing independently

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence assembling and operating equipment for patient care under RN supervision
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition
• Participates in planned education for the patient per policy with developmental considerations
• Reports variances according to risk management processes
