Overview




Performs a variety of clinical and clerical tasks as directed by the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse. Demonstrates commitment to providing safe and effective care.

Responsibilities




    Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Performs Unit Secretary-clerical functions/tasks.
  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations.





Qualifications




  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of one semester/clinical rotation and current enrollment in or completion of an accredited RN or LPN education program within the last 2 years.
  • No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training Experience as an assistive patient care provider.
  • BLS certification Required Upon Hire

Starting Pay




Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.67/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.






Remote Work/Work from Home




This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
