Qualifications

• Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course within 90 days or equivalent.
• 1 CNA or PCT certification or eligible for CNA exam registration.
• Direct patient care experience within past 3 years acceptable.
• UAP training program with clinical log required within 180 days as a condition of employment.
• Nursing licensure candidacy may be considered for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing/ancillary staff in transferring patients and delivering meals.
• Organize workload and manage multiple tasks in a busy unit.
• Educate and train new Care Team Associate staff.
• Perform patient position changes and basic care per directions.
• Enter information into bed-management system promptly.
• Respond to patient call lights and document vitals, intake/output, weight.
