Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a BSN, be licensed as an RN, and bring at least two years of nursing experience, with management exposure preferred. BLS and ongoing professional certification may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN required.
• Minimum two years nursing experience.
• Management experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support manager to enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and care delivery.
• Assist with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinate staff meetings/huddles to exchange information and promote dialogue.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
• Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegate care elements to appropriate healthcare workers.
• Identify expected outcomes for continuity of care/operations.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and disseminate updates to the team.
• Perform nursing care, assist with treatments and medications as needed.
• Manage patient flow and staffing through ongoing assessment of needs.
