Position: Nurse Supervisor- Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: SSH-West Allis
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Responsibilities
- Administer and supervise the clinical care being provided.
- Be responsible for safety, infection control, and quality of care issues on duty; assist with performance appraisals, mentoring staff during orientation, and handling disciplinary issues.
- Maximize management opportunities while on assigned shift.
- Effectively manage resources and promote a team-like atmosphere.
- Comply with educational requirements while promoting a climate of learning.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff members.
- Implement the staffing plan for your scheduled shift.
- Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs.
- Ensure that medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
- Teach and counsel patients and families.
Qualifications
- Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS required at hire
- ACLS required prior to completion of orientation
