Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an IL Nursing License, has 2+ years in hospital or nursing facility settings, and at least 1 year in a supervisory role. This full-time position reports to the DON/Administrator.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unencumbered Nursing License from the State of IL.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or nursing care facility.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory nursing experience.
• Ability to review and ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Administrator and DON in planning, organizing, and ensuring quality improvement.
• Review documentation for completeness, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure EMR entries for admissions, census, orders, and tests are accurate.
• Monitor daily dashboards and 24-hour reports for accuracy.
• Follow up on issues identified in the 24-hour report.
• Attend care plan meetings and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and compliance with policies.
• Education and training as directed by DON or Administrator.
