Job summary

Avir Trilogy is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead a shift and remain engaged with residents on the unit. You will direct daily nursing operations, supervise the care team, and make calls to keep the shift moving and residents safe.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff to foster a respectful, patient-centered culture. Strong nursing leadership is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing operations on your assigned unit and supervise nursing assistants and care staff throughout the shift.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and carry out resident care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to staffing, scheduling, and resource decisions that affect care delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with staff, residents, families, and physicians, particularly around transitions in care.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities and help implement changes that improve resident outcomes.
