Job summary

Skye-Canyon-Post-Acute is seeking an experienced RN to oversee the nursing services department. The candidate will assist in directing daily nursing operations, implement policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of resident care.

The role requires strong leadership, staff supervision, and coordination with other resident services. You will participate in quality assurance activities and support the discharge planning process as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• 2+ years in a long-term care environment
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to plan, develop and implement nursing care plans

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Nursing Services in directing daily nursing operations
• Maintain and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and guidelines
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys
• Coordinate nursing services with resident care departments
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure patient safety, documentation accuracy, and timely physician communication
• Lead committee work and prepare reports for governance bodies
