Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty.
• Ensure supervision complies with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Communicate with DON/ADON as required and ensure high quality resident care.
• Assist in directing day-to-day nursing functions and coordinating with other departments.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Attend committee meetings and report on nursing service programs and activities.
• Provide leadership to licensed practical and/or registered nurses and nursing assistants.
