Job summary

Family Hospital Management Company seeks a Nurse Supervisor in Cedar Park, TX. This full-time position involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating physician and task assignments, and maintaining personnel operations including performance appraisals and PTO requests.

Qualifications include a BSN preferred, an active RN license, and 4+ years in a hospital setting with 2+ years in management. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in state with current license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Four years in a hospital setting; two years of management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in hiring of nursing staff employees.
• Supervises nursing staff and makes daily physician and task assignments.
• Maintains personnel operations including performance appraisals, time clock reporting and PTO requests.
• Coordinates and maintains required training and staff competencies.
• Provides leadership and coaching; develops corrective action plans as needed.
• Evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing services with physicians to improve patient outcomes.
• Evaluates staff competencies by observation, peer review, orientation, and employee input.
• Orders all clinical supplies for the facility.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate program services.
• Delegates responsibilities appropriate to licensure, education, and experience.
• Monitors staff utilization with stakeholders.
• Requires 36 clinical hours per week.
