Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff and deliver direct patient care in a long-term care setting.

You will direct day-to-day nursing activities, ensure policies are followed, and coordinate with physicians to implement care plans, while promoting teamwork and resident comfort. Excellent clinical, documentation, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN with current state license.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.

• Able to perform tasks within physical demand requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistants and supervise nursing activities.
• Promote teamwork and ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Plan shift services with nursing staff and support personnel.
• Maintain nursing policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Complete and review treatment and discharge plans as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians, chart care plans and orders.
• Respond to resident needs and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory surveys and quality assurance.
