Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Meet with assigned nursing staff to plan shift services and activities.
• Verify compliance with Nursing Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing department.
• Participate in surveys conducted by government agencies.
• Respond to resident needs and monitor care plans daily.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
