Job summary

Aventura Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and daily activities under the Director of Nursing. You will monitor care delivery, lead shift meetings, and coordinate with resident services to ensure a continuous, high-quality care experience for residents.

Responsibilities include conducting rounds, addressing issues promptly, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting safety and infection control initiatives while ensuring staff meet regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Current registered nurse license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification required.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One-year management experience preferred.
• One-year experience in geriatrics and subacute populations.
• CPR/BLS certified.
• English language proficiency required; other languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and daily activities during assigned tour.
• Monitor delivery of nursing care and staff performance per policies.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to improve services.
• Identify and correct problems in nursing care delivery.
• Report to Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Conduct rounds and ensure safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Participate in safety, infection control and quality improvement programs.

Skills

Two years clinical nursing experience

One-year management experience

Geriatrics and subacute experience

CPR/BLS certified

English language proficiency

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
