Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the daily activities of the nursing staff. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and Alden policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

The successful candidate will supervise nursing assistants, participate in care planning, and coordinate with physicians and families.

Qualifications

  • Must hold current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
  • Must hold CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Experience with elder care beneficial.
  • English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and day-to-day activities.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Develop and follow care plans for each resident.
  • Document care, rounds, and communications with physicians and families.
