Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nursing Manager to coordinate and supervise the delivery of nursing care across units in a Magnet-accredited environment. The role ensures compliance with policies, laws, and organizational goals while aligning staffing and patient flow with census and acuity.

You will lead and mentor nursing teams, support the education of new staff, and partner with operations to optimize care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Nursing is required.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise delivery of nursing care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws and Magnet standards.
• Assist with orientation and education of new staff.
• Facilitate patient placement and triage with staff.
• Support staffing and staffing office for staffing levels and outcomes.
• Communicate policies to patients, visitors and staff.
• Lead in clinical leadership and staff development.
