Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead ambulatory care nursing teams across multiple departments. This role emphasizes patient care quality, staff development, and adherence to fiscal guidelines while supporting organizational goals.

You will oversee clinical activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with other sites to maintain high standards of care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN from accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or 4+ years supervisory/management experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS if supervise pediatric unit.
• 4+ years of clinical RN experience with progressive supervision/management.
• Strong personnel management and clinical leadership skills.
• Proficient keyboarding and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for clinic nursing staff.
• Solicit clinic input for organizational-wide strategic planning activities.
• Lead staff meetings, mentor staff, and educate patients and staff.
• Promote safe, compassionate care and monitor patient satisfaction.
• Ensure budget adherence and regulatory compliance within the clinic.
• Coordinate with ancillary services and other locations as needed.
