Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to lead administrative and nursing staff across Eldridge and Westchase Clinics. The role reports to the Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director and ensures high-quality administrative service to patients.

Responsibilities include implementing standards and policies, supervising staff in smaller clinics, and coordinating with clinic leadership to support multiple SBUs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years medical office experience including face-to-face customer service, cash handling, patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical billing, charge entry/capture, and knowledge of managed care.
• 1+ years of medical office supervisory experience or 4+ years in Coordinator/Leadership capacity.
• Basic PC literacy; Alpha/Numeric forms entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, understand and write English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to administrative and nursing staff working with the SBU.
• Ensure high quality administrative service to Kelsey-Seybold patients.
• Implement standards, policies and procedures formulated by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
• Directly supervise administrative staff in small clinics; may supervise coordinators in large clinics.
• Collaborate with Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director to oversee operations and service delivery.
