Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Nurse Manager to lead a multi-location clinic team in Houston. You will oversee patient care quality, staff development, and operations to ensure high satisfaction and fiscal stewardship.

Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation standards, managing resources, and guiding clinical staff across departments. Eligible candidates bring RN licensure in Texas, a nursing degree, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

  • RN from accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or 6+ years supervisory/management experience.
  • Active Texas nursing license and current certifications (ALS/BLS).
  • Experience with EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction for the clinic and participates in organizational planning.
  • Promotes competent patient care and ensures staff orientation and ongoing education.
  • Maintains patient safety, monitors satisfaction, and supports patient teaching.
  • Ensures budget adherence and staffing efficiency within approved resources.
  • Maintains regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness (AAAHC).
  • Implements quality improvement initiatives and risk management.
