Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams, develop patient care programs, and ensure high-quality care on a rehabilitation unit. You will collaborate with administration and nursing management to implement policies, supervise staff, and ensure excellent patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and delivering compassionate, tailored care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience in the last five years.
• BSN preferred.
• Leadership experience such as charge nurse or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs and policies.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff with on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships addressing needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
