Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Florida is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead a patient-centered inpatient rehabilitation team. This leadership role oversees nursing care, enforces procedures, and ensures compassionate, high-quality treatment across shifts within a dedicated unit.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, has prior leadership experience, and pursues or maintains ACLS/CRRN certifications. You will mentor staff, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with administration to deliver

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing as required by state regulations.
• Leadership experience in inpatient hospital settings.
• ACLS/CRRN certifications preferred or pursued within 1 year of hire.
• BSN preferred or higher.
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitoring and managing staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
