Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fredericksburg is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in our inpatient rehab setting. You will supervise nursing care, develop and implement individualized patient care programs, and ensure policy adherence while guiding staff through daily operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification with ACLS within one year.
• CRRN certification within one year.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience (last five years).
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitoring and managing staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Assuming patient care as needed and building relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
