Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor in Fort Worth to lead clinical teams delivering high-quality rehabilitation care. You will guide patient care programs, coordinate with administration and nursing leaders, and ensure efficient delivery of services across shifts on a designated unit.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, performance evaluations and ongoing development to foster compassionate care and strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatments and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations and performance counseling.
• Provide patient-centered care by addressing physical, mental and emotional needs for successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and foster a supportive, team-driven environment.
